Christina Hendricks looks as lovely as ever on the latest cover of Lucky magazine.
Inside, the actress admitted that she hasn’t always had the highest self esteem. She explained, “I just thought I would work in a hair salon and do community theater. There were so many actors. [I thought], why do they need one more?”
As for her role on “Mad Men,” Hendricks confessed, “I was crying before I went in—I was just so desperate. I was like, ‘I’m not going to get this,’ and my friend said, ‘It’s your role.’”
She continued, “Joan used to be Peggy. She just wants the next girl to not get trampled on like she did. Joan is fascinating. I would play Joan forever.”
