Channing Tatum isn’t afraid to talk about his former work as a stripper, as he proved in the Spring/Summer 2012 issue of GQ Style UK.
“I was young and dumb and stupid and wanted to make a little money,” he explained. “You can work 10 hours a day for minimum wage — that’s the opportunities for kids without a college education. Get some sh*t job that you’re really going to have to bust your hump for, or you can try something else a little crazy.”
Tatum admitted that it’s been difficult to adjust to the Hollywood scene, saying that he felt like an outsider at first. “I fought it really hard at the beginning. It’s hard on your emotional self,” he said. “Failures, even reading something someone wrote about you… God, I’m just trying so hard here.”
