The series was a low-cost international production that centered around a summer camp for families, that focused on both the staff and the campers. NBC picked up the show straight to series back in January.
“Camp” was unable to pull in ratings, even though it still did better than NBC’s other summer scripted series, “Siberia.” The show received an average 1.2 rating among adults aged 18 to 49. It started off a bit stronger with a 1.5 rating and 5 million viewers, but steadily declined over its first and only season.
“Camp” also starred Rachel Griffiths and aired over the summer months with a 13-week run.
