Recently there has been a surge in celebrity burglary. Anyone who’s ever been on the cover of Us Weekly is urged to lock up their minks and their naked photos and their Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and beef up security. Last week found Nicolas Cage the victim of a naked burglar, and this week Britney Spears has been hit. Our gossip bodyguard, FemaleFirst, reports:
The 25-year-old star was left in tears when she returned home from a night out at the five-star Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel at around 2am to find thieves had raided her $6 million property.
The burglars are believed to have made off with Britney’s collection of raunchy homemade sex tapes as well as a selection of the singer’s steamiest photographs.
