Bradley Cooper sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about his life and career under the glaring spotlight of Hollywood.
The actor, whose fame was taken to another level following the release of “The Hangover,” didn’t find himself very funny. He explained, “For some reason I didn’t think I would ever be able to make people laugh.”
He was wrong though. His turn as a person struggling with bipolar disorder in the film “Silver Linings Playbook” is earning him Oscar buzz. The film co-stars the very talented Jennifer Lawrence. Cooper says of working with her, “She’s incredible. I did two movies already with her because I’m not stupid.”
He also spoke about his turn on Broadway, which would be enough to terrify any actor. “It was a do or die moment for me actually… I remember thinking ‘if this doesn’t work, maybe I’m not right for this business.’”
