Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to build a private theme park for their kids on the grounds of their South of France home, Chateau Miraval. The opulent architectural move is primarily due to security concerns: during a trip last year to Legoland in Windsor, the Jolie-Pitt clan was forced to leave early when a crowd formed around the group.
“Brad and Ange felt really bad having to drag the kids home early when they were at Legoland last year,” a source told The Sun. “But if their bodyguards said there were too many people then they had no choice. Their eldest son Maddox asked if they could build something similar at the house in France. They were already getting a new pool, so they decided it was a great idea.”
The source added that the park will mostly be built underground and boast several eco-friendly features like solar panels and a water-recycling system. Its rides and attractions will include tunnels, slides, a carousel, a go-kart track, a train ride and a pirate island complete with a castle.
