Halle Berry has revealed (see, that was a good word choice, right there) the reasons behind her extraneous Swordfish titty flash: it was simply a trial run for her more intense Monster's Ball skin scene. A dress rehearsal, if you will. Or, an undress rehersal, if you will.
Make no boners about it–Halle Berry is dedicated to her craft! A real method actress, she makes sacrifices, godammit, for her "art", and took the role in that colostomy bag of a movie just so her rack could get some valuable experience in front of the camera. Kinda like how Charlize Theron killed all those dudes in preparation for her Monster role, or the time Johnny Depp actually had his hands surgically removed and replaced with sharp blades for Edward Scissorhands. Halle says, "I'm the first to admit that scene [in Swordfish] was very exploitive. There was no reason in the world for my character to show her boobs. But personally, as an artist, I needed to rid myself of the fear of nudity. I found a safe forum to deal with it. Nobody was touching me. I didn't have a love scene to feel uncomfortable about. (It was) 'Just sit there, show 'em, get past my fear and move on.' It's the reason the nudity didn't scare me in Monster's Ball. I thought, 'They've already seen my tits, they're not going to see much more than that, so hey.'" Well, then using that logic, everyone's already seen your tits, so hey, might as well pony up some va-jay-jay. Right? Right? Seriously, folks. Are we right or are we right? Is this thing on?
