Batman and Superman will be going head-to-head in the upcoming “Man of Steel” sequel. In a twist, the two superheroes will be battling each other instead of joining forces to take out a villain.
“Let’s face it, it’s beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest superheroes in the world,” said Zack Snyder, director of the film.
Snyder will be working alongside the man behind the “Dark Knight,” Christopher Nolan, who will be executive producing the sequel.
“Zack Snyder is an incredibly talented filmmaker, but beyond that, he’s a fan first and he utterly gets this genre,” said Greg Silverman, president of creative development at Warner Bros.
