Ashley Tisdale proved she’s moved on from her Disney days by baring almost all for Maxim magazine’s May 2013 issue.
Growing up isn’t always easy, as the actress proved by describing a scary story to Maxim. She explained, “Once I Instagrammed a picture of me waking up, and the next day this older gentleman came to my parents’ house saying he wasn’t going to leave till he saw me. I was like, maybe I shouldn’t have taken a picture of me in bed?”
Tisdale also divulged the fact that she’s not the only member of her family to be in the limelight. She is related to Ron Popeil, who invented products like the Chop-O-Matic and Pocket Fisherman. The actress admitted, “I have one of his knives and the rotisserie…The family on my mom’s side, their whole business is inventing and pitching stuff. My grandfather is in infomericals. He’s a pitchman, so if you’re ever watching TV late at night, you’ll probably see him pitching knives.” She continued, “My great-grandfather also invented the plastic cheese grater. We definitely have a lot of great kitchen utensils.”
