After cutting herself free of Pete Wentz and his former emo hair/current Horseshack hair, Ashlee Simpson has been rumored to be bringing her inimitable brand of acid reflux-tinged charm to a host of random skater guys. Seeing how she got pregnant and married at 23, it would make sense that she’s acting out some early twenties flirtations, but according to another source, she’s actually been tickling the tattoos of Travis Barker. The Enquirer reports (via Celebitchy):
After splitting from Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson, 26, is spending time with another tattooed rocker: Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 35, who is Pete’s pal. Says an insider: “She’s keeping it quiet because she’s afraid Pete will be pissed.”
Listen. Travis Barker lived through a jet plane crashing on the runway, so you think he would be able to handle anything, right? Wait until he meets Papa Joe Simpson. Having your body engulfed in jet fuel flames is a walk in the park compared to dealing with that dude. Good luck, pally-boy.
