The first season of “Arrow” ended on a high note after creating a pretty large fan following. Producer and writer of the show, Marc Guggenheim, says fans can expect even more drama in the show’s second season.
“We’re definitely trying to take the show to the next level,” he said. “Obviously we’re feeling a lot of pressure, but also a huge desire to return with a few big, bold statements that the show is not quieting down. If anything, it’s ramping up.”
And not to worry that season two of “Arrow” won’t live up to the expectations. Guggenheim says he wants to continue the momentum of season one.
“We’ve set the bar pretty high for ourselves in terms of ending with a bang, and we’re looking to exceed that in season two.”
For fans of the original comic book series, you can expect to see two new enemies for Oliver Queen (played by Stephen Amell).
“They’ll both be very recognizable names to fans of the [Green Arrow] comic book[s],” Guggenheim added. “We’re really excited about both of them.”
“Arrow” will return to The CW later this year.
