The FBI has made an arrest in what they’ve dubbed “Operation Hackerazzi”, an investigation into the person hacking into the cell phones of celebrities and leaking their private photos to the web.
The most recent victim was, famously, Scarlett Johansson, whose racy pictures made the rounds on Sept. 14. Afterward, Scarjo said, “Just because you’re an actor or make films or whatever doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to your own personal privacy.”
The FBI has arrested one man, not a group as was originally suspected. The man is from Florida and got no money for the photos, instead, he said he did it for the thrill.
Fans would argue that the thrill was all theirs!
UPDATE: The man is 35-year-old Christopher Chaney of Jacksonville, FL. If convicted of all counts, he faces a whopping 121 years in prison.
