Anne Hathaway‘s short pixie cut for “Les Miserables” is the most influential movie hairstyle of all time, according to a poll by the Hairdressing Council of Great Britain and Universal Pictures.

Hathaway’s signature style even beat out Jennifer Aniston, whose hair has always been the topic of conversation since the beginning of her “Friends” days. Aniston’s “Along Came Polly” look came in second in the poll.

Coming in third was Audrey Hepburn‘s updo in 1963′s “Charade.”

“Film can inspire people to do many things and in particular change the way they look. The versatility of Jennifer Aniston’s cut ensures it appeals to so many people while there really is nothing like an up do for that Hollywood glamour as sported by Hepburn,” said celeb hairstylist Charles Worthington.

Also on the list was Veronica Lake‘s long locks in “The Blue Dahlia and Molly Ringwald‘s red bob in “The Breakfast Club.”
