Amy Peohler will soon be releasing her funny musings in book form. The actress has signed a deal with publisher It Books, a division of Harper Collins, for an untitled project that seems to include fiction, non-fiction and lots of humor.
“Her original twist on the conventional memoir will have universal appeal,” It Books said in a statement. “An illustrated, non-linear diary full of humour and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons, the book will be a unique and engaging experience from one of today’s most talented and beloved stars.” They added that the book was “inspired in part by Peohler’s interest in helping women navigate the adult world.”
The book will be edited by Carrie Thornton of It Books, who said she was “blown away by [Peohler's] creativity and her passion.”
The financial terms of the deal have not been released. Peohler’s debut book will be released in fall 2014.
