When you’ve toured the world, been on a hit TV show and been nominated for a Grammy, what’s next? A fragrance line, of course! Adam Levine is getting ready to release fragrances for both men and women, named after himself.
The Maroon 5 frontman says he is happy with the end product because it’s something he would wear himself.
“It smells really good. Well, I couldn’t really conceive the idea of not loving whatever it was,” he said. “The task was to make something that I would wear. So that was a process and we finally came to a great conclusion and it smells great. I fully endorse it and I’m really happy because it has my name on it.”
Levine, who attended the official launch for the fragrance yesterday at the Premiere Fragrance Installation in Los Angeles, added that he used designer Tom Ford as inspiration for his scents, saying he is not usually a fan of celebrity perfumes and colognes.
The two fragrances will be available at Macy’s later this month. The bottles, which are shaped like microphones, will be priced at $35, $45 and $65.
