Adam Levine and his manager/producing partner, Jordan Feldstein, have signed a one-year first-look development deal with NBC. The duo’s job will be to create scripted and alternative program for the network, which will serve as both series and specials.
“It would be impossible to quantify Adam’s influence and importance to the success of ‘The Voice,’” said Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC Entertainment. “Given those enormous contributions, we’re very anxious to work with him and Jordan to see what future shows they develop that can find a home here at NBC.”
The Maroon 5 frontman has been working hard to expand his career since he began starring as a judge on “The Voice.” Since the huge success of the singing competition, Levine has launched an acting career with roles in “Can a Song Save your Life?” and “American Horror Story.” He has even entered the world of fashion, fragrances and endorsements.
