30 Seconds to Mars had the first copy of their new single launched into space through a SpaceX cargo mission. It will arrive with astronauts who will play “Up In The Air” for the first time at midnight GMT from the International Space Station 230 miles above Earth.
Meanwhile, the 30 Seconds to Mars band members will be at the Mission Control center in Houston, where they will be answering questions from fans. The entire thing will be streamed live on NASA’s website, starting at 1:10pm EST.
“Up In The Air” has already begun playing on radio stations and will be available to purchase from digital retailers at midnight. ”Love Lust Fait + Dreams” will be released on May 21.
