At one point, Oct. 31, 2011 probably seemed like a good date for Jessica Simpson to confirm her pregnancy and launch BeautyMint, her new skin care line, but in a cruel Halloween trick, today’s happy news just so happened to fall after the announcement of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ divorce.
Simpson posted this photo of she and fiance Eric Johnson earlier today, gushing, “It’s true! I am going to be a mummy!” She also discussed BeautyMint, noting, “It’s a project that’s very close to my heart, and we’ve been working on it for some time.”
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson began dating in May 2010; the former pro football player proposed that November.
Rihanna has been hospitalized with a nasty case of the flu, forcing her to cancel tonight’s show in Sweden. This afternoon, the “S&M” singer tweeted the photo on the left, writing, “Sorry Malmo! #LOUDtour.”
In an official statement, Rihanna said, “I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmow, Switzerland. [sic] I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time… so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there.”
Live Nation will reschedule the performance shortly. Get well soon, Rihanna!
Copies of the Adam Lambert issue of The Advocate are being purchased on the black market for $20 apiece. Since the magazine is subscription-only, devout Glamberts are finding innovative ways to get their hands on a copy of the November 2011 edition.
Gawker‘s Brian Moylan spotted the sign to the left. After calling the number on the flyer, he briefly spoke with a cousin of someone in the Adam Lambert fan club. His cousin was apparently trying to purchase as many copies of the magazine as possible to mail to members of the club.
Jeremy Kinser, an editor at The Advocate, admitted that the Adam Lambert issue was so popular that the magazine had run out of copies. “We actually ran a contest through our Twitter and Facebook for Adam Lambert fans to win a copy of the issue,” he wrote in an email to Moylan. “We received so many phone calls of people looking for the issue and sold out of all of our overrun copies.”
Two of today’s hottest stars, “The Hangover’s” Bradley Cooper and “Avatar”/”Colombiana”-heroine Zoe Saldana head an all-star line up in “The Words.”
About a writer who steals the work of another man, the film has managed to also bring Olivia Wilde, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Ben Barnes and Ron Rifkin on board.
The above image is a sneak peek, the first photo released in relation to the pic, directed by “Tron: Legacy” writers Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, and isn’t due out until 2012.
